Christmas

We had a great Christmas. =)
It was cold and white – perfect for sitting around the fire talking with
family. =D

Our Christmas Eve service was….hmm…interesting. We had some
kids do some clogging during the worship service. In talking to the parents
beforehand, we were told that the songs the kids were clogging to had no
vocals, just music. However, this proved to be incorrect as “hunk of burning
love” poured out of the PA system…
opps! Lets say, it was an
interesting service. =) [on behalf of
the parents, they focus so much on the music, they forgot about the words…]

Em’s parents and sisters came up Sunday afternoon and spend
the night so they would be there Christmas morning. The only difficulty was G
was sicker then a dog…that through a damper on Christmas, but it was still a
great time. =D

One of the best parts of the weekend was talking to R. She
is talking theology classes at the University were she works. This lead to some
awesome discussion of theology and church history – some of which the whole
family joined in. Some families talk about football – we talk about Augustine
and the problem of evil. =D
